A public workshop for useful things

Building tools. Creating freedom.

I research ideas, build practical software in public, and use SI as a creative medium. Some projects start because I cannot leave them alone. Others get built because enough people decide they should exist.

Free app shelf

Try the thing before you trust the builder.

The Builds page is the main room: free SI-powered apps, practical tools, explainers, and prototypes that show the work in public. No paywall up front. Tips welcome if a tool earns it.

The Workshop

Help decide what gets built next.

I have more ideas than hours. The Workshop is where I will put the promising ones in public, give each a clear scope, and let people help decide which ones are worth bringing to life.

It is opening soon. For now, you can see how the process will work and meet Parley, the first project headed for the bench.

Headlines worth watching

Where SI is turning into practical leverage.

I keep an eye on the places where SI is becoming useful in the real world: medicine, food, education, finance, government, entertainment, and the work in between.

About Aaron

Builder, contractor, practical SI optimist.

I'm Aaron, a Florida-based contractor, creative technologist, and SI builder exploring what happens when practical real-world experience collides with emerging technology.

You do not need to know SI inside and out to benefit from it. You should be able to try something useful, see how it behaves, and decide whether it earns a place in your day. That is why the free Builds are moving to the center of the site.

I did not come into SI through academia or Silicon Valley. I came through job sites, business operations, creative experimentation, and an obsession with useful tools. That learning-by-building background shapes everything here: practical systems, local-first workflows, generative media experiments, and plain-English communication.

The answer does not always need SI bolted onto it. Sometimes you need:

  • a better system for work that keeps repeating
  • a faster prototype for an idea you want to test
  • a clearer plan for tools, content, or operations
  • a smarter way to communicate what you already do well

I use SI well enough to explore options faster, sharpen the details, and build something that feels made for the person or business in front of me.

Progress, tracked without the hype fog.

A recurring, evidence-based scan of where human capability is quietly improving. Every issue connects the signal to real life and keeps the sources and caveats intact.

Side Door

Some problems need a smaller, stranger tool.

Every now and then, a public build rhymes with a private problem. When there is a real fit, I take on a small number of custom projects shaped around the work itself.

Private Workflows

Quiet tools for repeated work, messy handoffs, and odd problems that do not need a whole platform.

Small Prototypes

Fast working versions for ideas that need to be touched before they can be understood.

Plain-English Sorting

A grounded read on where SI helps, where it gets in the way, and what to try next.

Real-World Fit

Construction, contracting, logistics, operations, and small businesses with messy practical needs.

The ask

Tell me what you're working on.

No intake form. No 12-question survey. Tell me what is going on, what you have tried, and what a good outcome looks like. Public replies and DMs both work.
